Installing the clutch knob is the same for both the Optimum and the Magnum.
To install, take the Clutch Knob and install it into the side of the Downrigger Assembly. The Clutch Knob is installed on the side of the downrigger where the Spool is located.

- Insert the Clutch Knob into the center of the downrigger spool.
- Turn the Clutch Knob counterclockwise to tighten.
Magnum
- Insert the Clutch Knob into the center of the downrigger spool.
- Turn the Clutch Knob counterclockwise to tighten.
