Register a Factory Downriggers
Factory Reconditioned Downriggers are those returned to the Cannon factory for necessary repairs. After testing, they are sold through Authorized Service Centers. These downriggers are eligible for registration. Click here to Register your Cannon.

Provide Product Information:
Enter information in each field, then use your mouse to click into the next field. Do not use the Tab or Enter keys to move between fields. Note: Accessories that do not have a serial number do not need to be registered; however, you should keep your proof of purchase for any warranty considerations.

Fill in your Personal Information:
- Provide your contact details, including your first and last name, email address, phone number, and address.

Enter Purchase Details:
- Fill in the retailer's name where you bought the product, the date of purchase, and the date of delivery.
- Purchased From is the retailer you purchased from.
- Date of Purchase is the day you bought the Cannon in-store or placed the order online.
- Date of Delivery is the date the product arrived at your home, either from an online purchase or an in-store visit.

Primary Use:
- Select if your new Cannon will be primarily be used in Freshwater or Saltwater.

Upload a copy of your Receipt:
- You can upload a photo or a scan of your receipt. The file size must be less than 10 mb. If your file size is more than 10 mb, try taking a picture of your receipt and uploading the photo.
- Ensure the image includes the Date of Purchase.
- Click on the "Browse (jpg, jpeg, png, pdf, gif)" box.
- Locate the copy of your receipt on your device.
- Select your receipt and click Open on a Windows computer or Select on a mobile device.

Opt-In for Updates (Optional):
- If you'd like to receive custom content, insider news, and promotions, check the opt-in box.

Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions:
- Read the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

Check the box acknowledging you have read the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

Submit the Form:
- Review all the information for accuracy and click the "Submit" button to complete the registration process.

Confirmation:
- You should receive a confirmation email at the email address you provided once your registration is successful.
- If you do not see the confirmation email, check your Spam folder.

Mail-in your Registration Card
- If your Cannon came with the registration card shown below, you can scan the QR code or go to https://cannon.johnsonoutdoors.com/us/register to register your Cannon. This card cannot be mailed.
- If your Cannon came with a mail-in registration card (see example below) and you are having issues with registering you can send your registration card to the address below.

Issues attaching a picture of your proof of purchase
- The file cannot be larger than 10mb.
- The file type must be a jpg, jpeg, png, pdf, or a gif.
- If the file you are trying to upload is larger than 10mb, try taking a picture of your receipt with your phone and upload the new picture.
Error Message "Review the fields highlighted in red before continuing"
- If you are unable to register your product, and getting the the error message shown below, it is caused by entering the serial number and using the "Tab" key to move to the next field.
- To resolve this, instead of using the "Tab" key to advance to the next field, use your mouse to click in the field “Your Product Name”. If the product information doesn’t populate, then start typing in the product number and select the appropriate product from the drop down selections.
- If you continue to have issues with registering your product, verify that you are typing in the serial number correctly (most commonly, the letter "O" is used instead of the number "0" and the letter "I" is used instead of the number "1").
